The power of an idea is only realised when it is met with the right opportunities.

Most people with great ideas have to make long and onerous travels to make their idea a reality, but for the budding and vibrant startup community of Hyderabad opporunities are raining down this weekend at the Startup-a-thon 2016.

Spearheaded by askfunding.in and askmentor.com, Startup-a-thon is being held on the 29th and 30th of January kicking this year off to a great start. AskMentor is a collaboration between startup enthusiasts and industry veterans building a strong mentee-mentor relation around the world and AskFunding is a early stage funding platform interested  in the areas of Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Aeronautical), IoT, Healthcare & BioTech, Social Impact, Consumer Products and Mobile & Tech Platforms. Both of them have come together to give Hyderabad a one of a kind startup event with more than 40+ budding startups already registered  and eager to pitch their ideas in front venerable judges this weekend.

The panel includes:

Stemming from the potential,the organizers see in the young minds of the event also encompasses the inauguration of  an Incubation Centre at the St. Martin's College of Engineering on 29th, where after the inauguration, startups will finally face the heat and be judged on their pitches. Ten to Fourteen of these amazing ideas will get selected for the next round of evaluation which will be held at the biggest incubation centre of India –T-Hub on the 30th where a test of mettle will decide who will take the honour of being the winner. The winners will be eligible for funding by angel investors.There will be 2 panels discussing relevant issues in the startup field and towards the end of the event their will be a live mentoring session grooming  by the industry experts to better prepare these worthy startups for the real world challenges they are bound to face before and after they receive funding and acclaim.

Fulfilling  either a Want to listen and be inspired or a want to be appreciated and heard, Startup-a-thon is THE event every startup enthusiast  should attend this weekend.
